Miroslav Lajčák: The Secretary-General Candidate Interview

Miroslav Lajčák, Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic, was interviewed at the International Peace Institute by Warren Hoge, IPI Senior Adviser for External Relations, on Thursday, July 14, 2016.

The conversation is one in the series of interviews that the Global Observatory is conducting with all the official candidates for the position of United Nations secretary-general. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon is stepping down after two five-year terms, and the new secretary-general will take office on January 1, 2017.
